NOTD: Purple Ombre Nails
Ombre nails are very hot at the moment and purples are a great autumn colour. Why not combine the two?
Starting with a base coat, work from your thumbs with the darkest colour and finishing up your little fingers with the lightest! I've used Cutex Diamond Extra Hard, Revlon 790 No Shriking Violet, Australis Peek-a-Boo, Rimmel 170 Lovely Lilac and finished with Ulta3 Speed Dry Top and Base Coat.

I would love to to my nails wi a contrasting French manicure - like my nail is one colour and the tip is another colour. Not sure if it has a name.
ReplyDeleteI also want to try putting a sparkly polish on the tips and working my way up, so there's lots of sparkle ont he tip and not much on the top of the nail.
That sounds a bit like a gradient I think I have seen it called. I'll give it a go in a couple of days :)
